So, what does the engine lineup of the 2022 Ford F-150 look like? Six motors are on the list, with the strongest output coming from the hybrid, at 430 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque.

The strongest non-hybrid engine is the 3.5L high-output V6, generating 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. This 3.5L comes in a standard version, too, where it produces 400 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque.

The remaining trio of engine options includes:

  • 3.3L V6, generating 290 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque
  • 2.7L V6, generating 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque
  • 5.0L V8, generating 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque

2022 Ford F-150: Configurations


There are numerous configurations available when choosing your ideal Ford F-150. The pickup box can be 5.5-feet long, 6.5-feet long, or 8-feet long, for example. Cab sizes include a Regular Cab, which can seat as many as three people, a SuperCab capable of seating six people, and a SuperCrew, which can also seat six.

From there, you get to sort through eight trim levels. It all begins with the XL trim and follows with the XLT, the Lariat, and the King Ranch. Next is the Platinum option, which continues to ramp up the luxuriousness. The remaining trims are the Raptor, an off-roading machine with aggressive styling, the Tremor, and the fully loaded Limited option.
