There are certain things a 2022 Ford F-150 should always be able to do. Towing and hauling are two of those things. The capacities of the Ford F-150 depend on the engine that you choose.
If you select the strongest configuration possible, the maximum towing capacity is 14,000 pounds, while the maximum payload capacity is a sturdy 3,325 pounds. 2022 Ford F-150: Engine Choices
So, what does the engine lineup of the 2022 Ford F-150 look like? Six motors are on the list, with the strongest output coming from the hybrid, at 430 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque.
The strongest non-hybrid engine is the 3.5L high-output V6, generating 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. This 3.5L comes in a standard version, too, where it produces 400 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque.
The remaining trio of engine options includes:

- 2.7L V6, generating 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque
- 5.0L V8, generating 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque
2022 Ford F-150: Configurations
There are numerous configurations available when choosing your ideal Ford F-150. The pickup box can be 5.5-feet long, 6.5-feet long, or 8-feet long, for example. Cab sizes include a Regular Cab, which can seat as many as three people, a SuperCab capable of seating six people, and a SuperCrew, which can also seat six.
